Lead Software Engineer - Voice Print International: 2003 -

- Implemented a distributed file archiving system. At project start was assigned the smallest of the three main
applications, but ultimately placed in charge of the entire system. Responsibilities included code maintenance,
new feature implementation, and rewriting or refactoring unmaintainable or broken code.
- Rewrote a TCP file
transfer library gaining high reliability and a five fold increase in performance.
- Rewrote XML/TCP command
library and increased reliability. Used C++ as primary language.

Software Engineer II - Quantum Digital Solutions: 2001 - 2002

- Started as a Software Engineer I. Gained strong working knowledge of C++. Learned security protocols and
algorithms. Using C++, simplified and optimized encryption libraries. Achieved a code reduction from 15,000 to
2,100 lines of code. Achieved an encryption speed up from encrypting 2 MB/s to 70 MB/s. This optimization
allowed for the real-time decryption of video and audio.
- In October of 2001 finished a SANS course 'Introduction to Cryptography, Certificates and PKI'.
- Implemented a demonstrable digital rights management system. Developed a TCP/IP messaging system for the
entities of the system. Assisted in developing the systems security protocol.
